Concert Reviews (have a review? send it to me here)
POSTED: August 21, 2005 Concert in ESCANABA, MI - UPPER PENINSULA: fun times w/ famous ppl by Gina

Well yesterday Me(being Gina), Alex, and Jenny went to go see Seether, Crossfade, and Dark New Day at the U.P. State Fair. When we got there, we saw a guy with the most KICK ASS dreadlocks! So we told him that. Turns out, he's one of the f'n roadies! My Joely got us to the middle of the mosh pit. And then she left and so did I, but Alex and Jenny stayed there for a while and the guy in front of Jenny smelled good. Then, I randomly pulled them out of the mosh pit and told us that Alex's mom was getting a liner for The Bear( www.thebear.tripod.com ) from the bass player Corey(hot) of Dark New Day. So we got out, and met him, while he was signing every single person's stub or whatever. He was so cool about that. So after he was done, he told us that he could get us 4 backstage passes. After the concert, he was back signing autographs, and got us on the other side of the fence. We felt so specail:). Then we walked over by Seether's tour bus and hung out with Shaun. The other people on the OTHER side of the fence were like, "Hey! Where are you going?" And Jenny's like, "Fuck you!" I had the BEST time of my life. So after he was done signing a couple autographs (by this time there was only like 30 people left in the place) he came back over and we hung out with Shaun and Cory for like 10 minutes. There, we met the singer from Dark New Day (he has the SWEETEST mohawk) and got his autographs too. By this time, Cory was all over Joely, holding her hand and stuff, which was ok with me:). So my mom asked Shaun if we could see their tour bus. But we went in Crossfade's instead. Once inside, we got a tour, pictures, and watched South Park with them. Shaun was imitading the people from the show, it was hilarious. They gave us pop, Jenny never opened hers and still has it. Then, I was by the door and was like, "holy shit! it's the singer from Crossfade! How do you open the f'n door?!?!?!" And then he just kinda came in. And we're like, "Hey...there." Jenny was the greeter. Alex told him he was hot like 3 times and got pics with him and autographs. Alex's ten dollar beater is now worth like $100 with all of the autographs on it. Well, Joely hung out with Cory and Shaun, while we stayed on the tour bus. Outside she asked how Shaun could kiss people with his lip ring. Then Cory told her she should kiss him and find out. AND SHE DIDN'T!!! She's so stupid sometimes...I swear. Well, when it was time to get off of the bus, we hung out by Seether's tour bus whlie my mom was with Cory and Shaun, and that's were we met the rest of Seether! I somehow managed to get the whole band out there. We got LOTS of hugs:). When it was time to leave, Cory said he wanted to hear a demo of our band!!! So Joely gave him her email. Finally, at about midnight, we left. It was the BEST night of our lives!!!
All of the "action" we got:) Gina-Kissed Shaun Jenny-Cory kissed her, and the bass player from Seether called her a sweetheart Alex-Cory kissed her 2 times, and the bass player kissed her too!

-check out her blog here (sounds like they had a sweet time!)

Jul 26 2005 Tallahassee, FL - FLOYD'S MUSIC STORE [with Dark New Day & Ra]

ROAD TRIP!! I can't take ME ANYWHERE!!!! Check Back soon for my road report! I'm back..First let me let everyone know that I didn't do any of the stuff I planned on doing before I got to the concert! I swear this is what I wanted to do: 1) I was planning on writing something on a piece of paper that read 'Happy Birthday Stephy' and I wanted to get all the guys in the picture 2) I wanted to get an autograph for Brittany 3) I wanted to take more shots of the guys 4) I wanted to get souvenier for a friend at work....but none of that happened. Sorry!!

Since this was the first time for my brother & his girlfriend to see the band live, I got caught up introducing them to Ed, Mitch & James. Joe (my bro) was running around getting autographs and he asked Ed to sign the baby! So Ed was cool when he signed Patty's shirt and then her belly! (yes, she's pregnant with a girl - which I told them to name 'Edwina - they gave me the crazy eyes) lol They were both happy! My bro was having such a good time! He loved the guys and he thought Mitch was the MAN! haha He really liked him! If the boys get to read this, THANK YOU FOR A GREAT TIME!!! I swear those 3 are the nicest, sweetest rockers!!!

Ok, back to the beginning...I ADMIT I am really really AWFUL with following directions. I've gotten myself lost on Roadtrips atleast 5 times this year! And the trip to Tallahassee was going to be added to the list! OMG I'm so dumb. Anyways, I headed 1 hr in the wrong direction which set us back about 2 & 1/2 hours...we left my house around 5:30p expecting to get to the concert around 7:30 or so... Tallahassee is ONLY 2 hrs away, k. But we finally made it there around 10:30. I can hear everyone agreeing with me now - she REALLY SUCKS with directions..ok, so I called Barry, and he's like where are you? The guys just got on stage! I was like 5 min away from Floyd's by this time... I got on the tour bus (where Barry was hanging out) and he had one of his people escort us in to Floyd's. It was packed - of course, being that it was a SOLD OUT show! I've never been in there before but my first impression of Floyd's is that it must be an older building, very small and the layout of the stage, bars and sound setup was not that great. I didn't care for it. Ok, so I tried to squeeze my way closer to the stage..not much luck. The guys were cool about letting me in but the girls just gave me the evil eye! LOL I found a spot that was decent...listened to the last few songs for their show..So Far Away, Drunk & Cold. **During one part of the show I got frustrated because I wanted to see more, and well there was this wooden table right in front of me - so I stood on it and screamed & waved to Eddie..and glanced to my right to see one of the Bouncers motioning me to get down! I ignored him for a minute until I noticed him pushing his way through the crowd to get to me..oh oh..lol. Ok, so I got down (after a lil arguing...I gotta argue its fun- but can u imagine them hauling a lil 5 foot tall girl out of a club kicking and screaming??? Well, I didn't want too haha)**
I made a recording of cold and after that all of us headed back out to where the buses were and also where we parked the Escalade. Happily in front of the bands tour bus...they must NOT leave without us! haha I did run into Clint Lowery of Dark New Day by the door and got a quick snapshot with his fine self! Thanks Clint! (I was alittle upset that I missed their performance, but I'm glad that they will be in Vegas with Crossfade in Sept..and I DO NOT plan on missing this performance for DND)

By this time, I'm buzzing like crazy, hot as hell and excited to see the boys. There was a whole crowd of people out back. Oh, when we first got there, they had one dude pinned to the ground and the cops were called to haul his ass away....not sure what happened there. My bro said they escorted about 3 more dudes out of Floyd's too. Anyways, we hung out drinking Absolut Vodka with OJ back at the SUV. Mitch finally came out of Floyd's and headed for the bus, but before he could get on to get cleaned up, I took this chance to introduce Joe and Patty. That's when my bro decided that Mitch was so cool! Mitch definitely is a Great person!! I don't know how many times you'll have to hear me say this, but they are the BEST!!! They deserve nothing but good things to happen to them. Then came James, who had his own group of admirers around.. And last but not least, Eddie finally came out. I was messing around with the stuff I got them by the SUV and my bro & Patty were out talking to other ppl hanging around...when I peeked around the corner, I saw Ed heading my way..I pretended to hide..heehee and he came over and hugged me so tight I thought I was gonna pass out! lol He is the greatest. I love that boy! So, anyways, we chatted for a few and I finally decided to give him his gift, which was a brown leather band watch. I wasn't sure if he'd like it, since he always wears black bands..but he made me feel good by saying that he did and he put it on right away. I didn't know what to get Mitch & James, but I picked up 2 tshirts from Innerlight, a storm trooper wrist band & a bottle of Captain Morgan's for Mitch & James & the usual cigars for Barry. I wanted it to be a little thank you for all that they do for me, as a fan & a friend.

Well, we kinda hung out by the bus and the SUV while the band signed autographs, took pictures and chatted with the fans. O.O I spotted Corey (from DND) and my brother went over and had him sign a hat. I decided to run over and introduce myself too. WOW. He's even more good looking in person. A bit shorter than I imagined but not disappointing at all. Very adorable. Patty tried to take a pic and when that didn't work, we held each other a while until she got a handle on the camera! lol..he's so sweet. I told him I was sorry it was taking so long, and he made the comment that, that's ok, we could sit here and hold each other all night! I would definitely fall for that line any day!!! *GRINS* Ok, so now I really adore this Dark New Day band member! Thanks Sarah again for introducing me to their music. I love it.

The crowd started thinning out when we went into the Irish Pub next door to Floyd's. The bands were in there just chilling out, talking to their friends and fans and having a good time. My bro, once again was drunk but having a good time. He kept buying shots for everyone and I think spent about $200 on drinks! I kept telling him to stop because he kept tipping $10 here and there. I believe in tips but WTF! Oh Well, he was having fun..and that's all I wanted for him to be doing :)

I chatted to James for alittle bit, he kept trying to get me to tell him what I got him.. I didn't budge! *winks* Ok, so I asked James to sign my jeans but before I could give him the sharpie I was holding (which by this time, I realized didn't have the cap on) I noticed there were scribbles already on my jeans! I looked up at James and said 'DID YOU DO THAT? Who did this? *pointing to my thigh! It was funny. Patty just looked at me and said i just watched you doing it. haha I really didn't know...so James signed above my scribble: "This isn't me" with arrows pointing to my graffiti and then autographs below it. Awwww... well, I had fun teasing him. He's a great guy! Thanks James!

I motioned to Clint to please sign my thigh and he did...! And what a sweetie - before he went back to his group he grabbed my hand and kissed the top of it...AWWWW...these guys really know how to turn the ladies on. It was so sweet, I wish you could've seen the daze in my eyes! Before we knew it it was 2am and the bar was shutting down...I was sitting there sipping my water while Patty took my bro out to the Escalade to get sick..:( I ran around getting paper towels wet for him and managed to get a garbage bag for him too. It was weird. I thought I was the one who was suppose to end up puking that night. I felt bad for him....I went around and said my goodbyes to Corey, Ed & Barry - the others must have already made it back to the buses. I finally pulled out of the parking lot when Xfades driver started honking at me. lol Ok, ok..I'm going! haha It was a great time! Altho the night was over from the show...it was not for me & Patty...we babied my brother who swore up and down that he was gonna die but in between his whines and gags...he would say where's Mitch, Ed, James? LOL You had to have been there. He loved Crossfade! After about an hour of being parked so he could get sick..I left them and low and behold found a 24-hr CVS pharmacy not too far away! What luck! I ran in bought sodas, more water, snacks & paper towels for my bro.

In the end...he finally fell asleep in the back and I got us home safe and sound by 5:30am. Oh, which my the way, I got us lost 15 min away from my house. HAHA IDIOT ME! Really, I have to laugh at myself...I get lost at that same area ALL the TIME! You would think I would know by now, right? John says he's going to tutor me on reading directions when he gets back from school. Good Luck I tell him!

Sorry for my story, but I couldn't tell it without telling it all... in case I forgot to say, they put on a great performance...but I'm alittle bias. You have to give the band props for putting 210% into their tour, the fans and the critics! Yes, they are alittle hoarse...but it's understandable. They are tired, exhausted and I would imagine home sick...but, like the professionals that they are...the show must go on....of course, unless the fire marshall is there!

Jul 19 2005 Charlotte, NC - TREMONT MUSIC HALL

Ohhhhhh wowwwww...to tell you the truth I really do not know where to start, ok I'll just start from when I arrived at the venue...well we got there and parked and I was walking toward the line (which was still very short since I was an hour early)...and all of the sudden I hear "DUSTIN!!!!"...ahhhh who could that be, well I turn and there she is sitting in her car, the beautiful Cherryl...well, 1 down, 1 to go (still haven't seen Jordan...Iheartxfade for those of you who don't know)...well I walk with Cherryl, her son and his g/f to the line, when finally Jordan shows up, so the night was goin great so far, I had met up with who I had wanted to...well after meeting Jordan and her family I went back toward the front of the line with Cherryl, and we FINALLY went in the gate after about an hour or more of waiting...and then had to wait a little longer until the doors were finally open...

So now we are in...2nd row (stage was small)...and it's about time to rock!!!

First off, the place was VERY HOT...no air conditioner in there, so of course we were all soaked in sweat by the time the second act came on...

RA and Dark New Day are fucking amazing...they both put on a really kick ass show, and I really am planning on seeing them again in the future...

Crossfade finally came on, and of course the boys are worn out from this long tour...but they never cease to amaze me, they gave it their all as always and put on a show that was just as good, if not better than the last 4 that I've seen...the guys were really hot, as I said, theres no air conditioner in there, so guys had to keep bringing wet rags on stage to keep them cooled off a little bit at least...they played the usual set, beginning with Starless and ending with old faithful Cold...and of course added Cage and Drunk in there...

After it was all over, I had ended up with 3 picks, one from each band, and a water bottle from James (which I gave to Jordan afterwards)...me and Cherryl took a lot of pics...several of the boys on stage and several of us...also one with Jordan...so she should have some of those up soon, we of course talked to the guys and got the goods signed...only Mitch and Ed were at the merch table signing stuff...where was James u might ask?...

After sayin my final goodbyes to Cherryl I was walking out of the place and guess who comes walking up the ramp, the awesome JAMES...we had about a 10-15 min discussion about the board, tour dates and other shit...but I also found out that he wasn't with Mitch and Ed because he had been very overheated and had to go to the bus to get a cold shower...which was very understandable, I'm just glad I come by him to find that out...

I feel like I have more to say but I'm gonna shut up for now...

I conclude with this...Cherryls pictures do not lie people!!!...she is very attractive, and looks amazing to be 34 yrs old (unbelievable)...Jordan was very cute too, but overall I just enjoyed everything, it was awesome meeting those two and rocking out with some fellow Crossfadians (hey that sounds cool lol)...we must do it again....and maybe next time more of you guys can come...also, Cherryl happy birthday once again...I hope you enjoyed yourself...

Anyways I'm out for now...

Peace,
Dustin (review by: leadsinger06 - Crossfade Message Board)

July 1 2005 Milwaukee, WI - MILWAUKEE SUMMERFEST

I had so much fun. I met Melissa and Rachel at the hotel, got settled, and we went to the grounds and pretty much went immediately to the rock stage. On the way, we heard this AWFUL remix of Cold. I swear to god, it sounded like the Backstreet Boys. Anyway, when we got to the stage, we looked around for a little bit, found the bus, and got to talk (very briefly) to James. A while after that, we met xxmetalprincessxx and then were wandering around and ended up running into Ed and we got photos with him.

A while after THAT (I'm really lost on the time frame, LOL), Mitch went out through the grounds with his girlfriend, so we didn't want to bother him. Then we saw a platinum blonde head (James) come walking toward where we were sitting and we called him over, thereby stalling his lunch by a few minutes because he talked to us for a little bit. I got a photo with him, but most of his head got chopped off. Anyway, as he was heading into the backstage area to eat his lunch, Mitch came walking up and his girlfriend went backstage before we waved to him. He came over and actually talked to us for a little bit (which none of us were expecting) and we all got photos with him. Last time I saw them, I got a photo with him, but it didn't come out, so I'm very happy that this one did. What really shocked me is that he remembered me (although that may have been because of my Crossfade tattoo).

So anyway, we went into the stage area after that to wait for them to come on and we were probably... sixth or seventh row during the last band before them, American Motherload. They were okay, I guess. After they went off, I went up to the front, where I ran into Lynn from the board. When the guys finally came on, they played their standard setlist, just minus Disco, which I actually would have liked to see, even though it's Tony's song and he's not there anymore. I think they did well, even though they could probably use another guitarist to fill in the sound because Ed has a habit of dropping his hands from his guitar. This is the best of my performance shots, except for this one of Ed. I almost got a really good one of Mitch, but then the dumbass turned and walked away (thereby causing me to get a picture of his back). Considering I had a disposable camera, they came out pretty damn good. I think Melissa, Rachel, and I were the only ones singing along to every song. I know we were probably the only ones singing along with Jagged, Drunk, and Cage.

Anyway, at the end of their set, when they were tossing the picks and sticks out, James tossed a stick in my direction and then the girl next to me reached for it, thereby knocking it out of my hand and to the ground. The security guard picked it up and wouldn't give it to either of us, and just as I was about to ask him, I saw Mitch coming toward me with something in his hand. He leaned over and handed me a copy of the setlist :) I don't know if he heard me say thank you or not, but I ended up talking to someone with the band (hereafter referred to as Whatshisname, since I don't know his name) who took it to have him sign it because he didn't come out to sign stuff after the set and I asked Whatshisname to tell Mitch thank you for me. Not sure if he did, though. Anyway, while I was waiting for Whatshisname to come back with my setlist, I got another photo with James, which made me very happy when I saw that his head got chopped off in the first one. Whatshisname came back with my setlist, which he had Ed sign, too :)

After that, we left and went back to our hotel, sat around for about five minutes, and then decided to go find something to eat. We ended up at Denny's and then going to Walgreen's to drop off our film. The one-hour wasn't open, so we just picked up our film (and each of us also got a photo album) this morning before we all left. We briefly talked about doing a road trip again when they have their next tour after they finish recording, but who knows if it'll actually happen.

June 24, 2005 Biloxi, MS - WCPR ROCK FEST - We had the most awesome time at the concert in Biloxi, Ms!!! Many thanks to the Band and especially to Barry for dealing with all my text messages and phone calls!!! [i have a really crappy cell phone..damn you AT&T!!] We made it into Biloxi around 4pm. The weather was kind of gloomy and it rained too for a little while. Crossfade wasn't going to be on stage until around 7pm, so we were hoping it would clear up by then...in the meantime, we tracked down Barry 3 hotels and 1 hours later (Crossfade's cool tour mgr - props there!) and picked up our ALL-Access passes! (John kept teasing me like crazy because I call them 'all access' passes - he thought I was being a silly girl haha - til he saw the one we got.... and whatdaya know..it said ALL ACCESS on it! haha It's an inside joke, I guess you have to understand our silly humor.

Anyways, we kidnapped Barry (just kidding) and headed to one of the casinos to pass some time until 7pm. Since the traffic was kinda at a crawl, we picked the first casino, which was Treasure Bay. We really didn't stay in the gaming area that long - I played with $2 was up $4 on the nickle slots (HAHA) and ended losing $6. Big Spender! So now we were getting hungry...decided to check out their buffet. It wasn't too bad, we sat there pigged out, talked for awhile and decided it was time to head back to the room....

Continued from front page- Yay! The weather cleared up too!! It was so cool hanging out with the bands tour manager! It was just soo surreal, you know. Since we were going to give him a ride to the show, he invited us to hang out in his room while he got ready. Later on, we saw James and Jenn on the breeze way. I finally met James' bride. She's very nice and very pretty. I'm glad I got to meet his better half :) It's the first time I've seen James since he had his hair dyed blonde. I like it. Now they match!! Jenn and James, that is..

Continued 6.26.05@9am- I know you're probably wondering, why didn't you go bang on the boys' rooms! Well, you know, call me old, but I figured they needed as much sleep as they could get. Being on tour for 15 months is a long time.! I don't know how they do it. Well, hanging out with Barry was very cool. He's really cool. So, 7 o'clock came around..off to the Coliseum we headed. It was packed!! This was the first time we didn't have to wait in line..show our tickets..etc. We just flashed our "all access" (heehee) pass to the gate dude and drove around to the back of the stage. We found it funny how when the dude told us to drive around to gate A2 which leads backstage - he said you'll go that way so the crowd doesn't see you. (I guess thinking we had all the guys in the Hummer) Ok, so we drove around the entire building ..which by the way, led us past tons of concert goers (you know, so they wouldn't see us - haha) where we parked right next to the gate where the first guy was. I thought it was dumb - coz he coulda let us thru his way and voila! There we'd be! Anyways, it was all good. It was so exciting seeing the crowd of people! Wow! I was in rockin' heaven.

We gathered all our camera gear and walked around checking the place out. We searched for a beer booth which was placed way in the back..almost a mile away..j/k. I ran into Dale Stewart, who plays bass for Seether and John took a quick photo of us. Cool! He was very nice. John ran into a few other photographers who asked him who he was shooting for...he thought about saying "oh..the Rolling Stones..." haha It's funny to me how photographers 'bond' when they see each other. Anyways, we told him Crossfade and he thought that was cool. Said he'd never heard of them until now and was excited to check out their show. I told him that he better coz he didn't know what he is missing!

So, we made our way back to the stage area..Barry was running around doing his thing. Well, the band shows up! Yay! We all hugged and I thanked them..etc. Ed smelled so clean..and I could smell his hair gel too. lol It was nice. He looked great! Mitch looked great and James too! I think Mitch looks especially great since the first time I met him last Oct. Very sexy! They are really looking like hard core rock stars! :) You could tell they were excited. I was too because this was the first performance I was going to see since they've become a 3-pc and my first time watching from ON-TOP of the stage! I liked how the stage was set up, only because there was plenty of room to move around stage without getting 'too' much in the way of the bands.

Continued 6.27.05@10:15pm - Its been 3 days and I am still buzzing from the excitement on Friday! ok, so Crossfade was getting ready to perform! YaY! We headed up on stage and positioned ourselves in the best possible spot. John clicked away with his camera and I took a few shots here and there too. Mitch didn't miss a beat as back up vocals. I think he did a great job. It was SO GREAT being right there with the band! Their performance was awesome. I don't think I could ever see a flaw when they are on stage. It was really HOT and it was obvious Ed was feeling the heat too. He finally decided to strip off his shirt (w00t!) and go topless for the rest of the show! The crowd was crazy! I loved it!!! This is a fans dream! They closed the show with 'Cold' - I was able to take a mini mpeg movie of it with my camera too. So cool!

Now.. the stage was being prepared for the closing rockin' performance with none other than Seether! Another fantastic rock band! I ran into all the guys up on stage but I was too shy to get pictures with them like I wanted. So, I just said Hey! to Shaun (lead singer) and he looked so rockin'! I swear he reminds me of Ozzy in his younger days. OWell..that was awesome seeing him! In the meantime, during the sound checks, me and John hung out in the hummer (it was so fricken hot my panties were sticking to me! haha) We watched the boys (Crossfade) fool around backstage for a while. They were having such a good time. Well, except for the part when Barry had to dump a few cups of ice water over Ed to try and cool him down...poor guy.

Ok, so they headed back to the green room and I headed back on stage to watch Seether perform. I loved their show! They are even better live. They closed their performance off with 'Broken' - it was wonderful. I absolutely love that song. Too bad Amy Lee wasn't here too perform it with Shaun. Well, Seether said their thanks to all the bands that opened up for them and with a wonderful surprise, Shaun sang a portion of 'Cold' too. WOW! It was all way to cool! Kinda funny, coz Crossfade ran up on stage when they heard them singing it. haha ...

So after 6 band performances and 8 hrs later..they stripped down the stage. We waited around to see if the band needed a ride back to their rooms but they decided to party with Seether instead. Like that would be fun, right? HAHA The Life of a Rock Star!......in end... another memorable time with Crossfade. Thanks again to Crossfade for making this happen for me! I hope the tradition of being down-to-earth home boys and not stuck up rock stars rubs off on future rising rockers. They are truly amazing guys. P.S. Thank you baby for taking me (again) atleast the shows are getting closer! :) Its so good to know that you had a good time too. Ok...with all this said. Go and Support the Band! Watch them live - you won't regret it!!!!! Lord knows that once they take a break to work on their next album - the tour scene will not be the same without them......atleast for now.

Jun 18 2005 Sauget, IL POP'S | Jun 19 - TULSA, OK - CAIN'S BALLROOM

OK...so the weekend started off Friday by picking up my friend(Brittany) and driving to St. Louis to meet another friend from Wisconsin(Jennica). So we got into our hotel room and then went to the mall to waste time till Saturday. So when Saturday came we got up at 8am after going to bed at 2am. We got to the venue at 9am no one was there so we drove around for an hour and a half..then sat in the car and watched "Hitch" on Jennica's PSP(those things are small) then all of a sudden out of the corner of my eye..I see a big silver bus pulling a silver trailer. It pulls around in front of us and out of the back window pops a blonde headed crazy guy...I lean out the car window and say.."JAMES" and wave to him..he waves back. WOO HOO!!!...James \m/rocks\m/!!!!

Then after the bus parks James comes over to talk to us...Jenn, I pinched his cheecks and told him he was adorable cause he is. We had alot of fun talking with James.

Then we sat and waited cause two certain people..not naming names *cough*jamesandbarry*cough*....said they needed a ride to Wal-Mart but that never happened but that was ok..we still love you guys the same. Well, while talking to James Seether showed up.

Then after we got done talking to James about an hour later No Address shows up. We got to go on NA's tour bus..it's pretty nice what we could see cause Bill NA's bassest has the flu right now so we could go to far into the bus cause he was sleeping.
Then we got off the bus and there was Ed trying to get a tan...didn't work that well..hehehe..Love ya Ed...Oh..yeah...one of the road crew drew on Ed with sharpie it was kind of funny.(OH..YEAH..don't ever call the road crew..ROADIES..they hate that...they are the road crew or the techs..like DRUM TECH or GUITAR TECH..you that kind of thing) Then we just hung out with everyone NA, Crossfade, and Seether...it was fun. Then we got in line...first ones...we got front and center for the whole show it was great. I would have taken pics but they didn't allow digital cameras just disposibles, OH well.

Well, the show was AWESOME...everyone did a GREAT job, then afterwards we got to hang out with the guys some more, that was fun. We got back to out hotel about 3am or so...we talked about going to their next show in Tulsa, OK that night...then we fell asleep. We woke up a 10:30am...we talked some more about ging to Tulsa..then we made few phone calls and found out how far it was only 6 hours...so we decided to go.

SO...OFF we were to Tulsa, OK. We get there...we are in the front of the line, again..WOO HOO!!!! OH, yeah...I ran into James before the show again...he was just walking down the street and NO ONE knew it was him...that was so great...I love when you do that James. Then we saw Ed before the show too. But when Crossfade got on stage Mitch was shocked as hell to see us again..cause he didn't know we were there..it was awesome. Yeah, and No Address and Seether were kind of shocked to see us too. It was awesome. Then after the show we hung out with James for alittle bit then went outside and hung out with No Address..until their bus call. Then we drove 6 hours back to St. Louis and I got home at 10:45am this morning. And now I'm here typing this which is actually taking forever cause I got people IM'ing me..gosh..they act like I've been gone for 3 days....OH..wait I have..hehehehe. Well, that was my EXCITING weekend. How was everyone elses?

P.S. Jenn...I'm stealing James away from you. He's just som darn sweet and caring and adorable. LOVE YA JAMES...you know I mean it in a friendship way too.

Crossfade Concert Review
At the House of Blues - March 13, 2005

Orlando, FL - Hailing from Columbia, South Carolina with a motivation to be successful this four piece band set goals. Making some changes along the way such as adding the vocal and turntable talents of Tony Byroads has given this project an edge which was revealed in their recent live performance at the House of Blues.

Crossfade stole the show with their on track timing, amazing vocal range, and energetic stage presence. The live sound is even better than the CD. This band is one of the few who should consider a live album. Yes, they are that talented.

When Crossfade took the stage in front of the sold out crowd at House of Blues in Orlando there was a total crowd connection from the beginning of their set until the conclusion. With the energy of an erupting volcano Ed, Mitch, Tony, and James blew onto the stage. This band really has three front men all working in complete harmony with one another and taking their moment in the spotlight. How refreshing to watch a unique performance that really was a cut above the rest. With the crowd, screaming, jumping and moshing the band aimed to please. I believe Crossfade stole
tonight's Sno-Core show at the House of Blues!

The two songs that appeared to have the best crowd and band connection was "Cold," a number one song in 2004, and still a huge crowd favorite today. The second was "Disco" in which the energy from the band was unbelievable. A new release getting a lot of airplay is "So Far Away" which combines harmony and rock. Expect to see more of this professional and talented group as there is no doubt they are ROCKSTARS now.

Crossfade is: Ed Sloan - Lead Vocals/Guitar - Mitch James - Bass/Backing Vocals - Tony Byroads - Vocals/Turntables - James Branham - Drums. Readers can sample music by visiting the Crossfade page at Myspace.com.
